About Gallery Oxholm

Gallery Oxholm opened in November 2011 in Nørrebro, Copenhagen, with the ambition to present high-quality art that is accessible to everyone. From the beginning, the gallery captured the spirit of its time and helped shape the foundation of what we do today—what we love: showcasing relevant art that reflects the essence of contemporary life and thought.

Our program features both Danish and international artists, working across a wide range of techniques, media, and practices. Rather than adhering to a single aesthetic or style, our artists are united by their drive to express ideas, share stories, and engage with the world around them.

In 2014, the gallery entered a new chapter when we relocated to our current space in Frederiksberg. This move marked a renewed focus on supporting our artists through in-house exhibitions, collaborations with other galleries, and participation in international art fairs.

In September 2024, Galleri Oxholm expanded with the addition of a larger gallery space in Køge. The Grand Opening, held on Friday the 13th of September, marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter in our history and strategy. The new space allows us to present a more diverse and dynamic exhibition program, offering new experiences in a fresh setting.

At Galleri Oxholm, we see it as our responsibility to foster close collaboration with each artist. We support their work through production assistance, communication with partners, and the maintenance of both written and visual archives. Above all, we are a public space committed to presenting high-quality contemporary art to a broad audience.

Come share the art with us – we look forward to welcoming you!
