Hans Henrik Fischer´s works are inspired by human nature and the motives describe with a hyperrealistic precision our dark sides, dark matters and destructive behavior. Based on stories from his own life the artist captures contemporary popculture and places it in the violent context where it belongs.
Hans Henrik Fischer belongs to a group of artists recognized by their sarcastic and playfull humor and often provocative dark motives.
Hans Henrik Fischer holds a degree in drawing and painting from billedskolen and The Glyptotek´s School of Drawing. He has been working with various forms of expressions but primarily in a figurative universe. His technique has developed from a loose stroke and collage-inspired aproach to a much slower and more judicious process. The lines are much finer and the overall expression more thorough.
